Thanks for the comment Ignacio!

And indeed, it's a shame that these people still manage to take advantage of the good will of other hard working people.

I hope that through this post people who might be dealing with them get some info on their true nature.

Saludos

Hi Daniel,

First off, thanks for your comment. Indeed, this blog's "official" language is English and that's the reason why this specific post was written in it. But I definitely see your point and agree that the discussion should be open and free to those who are directly influenced by the outcome of this project and so the conversation should be carried out in Spanish.
So I decided to edit the post and add a Spanish translation to it and consequently I will continue my answer to you in Spanish ;-)

Before talking about transportation, I wonder why this sort of discussion has to be carried in english... I see this web is kind of your web page or your blog... but I think that this material and this activity is really important for the city (free, independent, decent discussions) but of course, not too much people in Bogotá can read & write in english. I encourage you to share some ideas in a easier way for everyone!

Hey Bernardo! Nice to hear from you again :-)

I recommend you take a look at this:
http://www.myservicefellow.com/ and to talk to Marc Stickdorn, the guy responsible for that project (you can find his contact details on the site).

It’s an experience sampling tool very similar to what I ended up with during my graduation, but without taking differentiated emotions as a starting point. Might be interesting for you.

Hello there!

Tip: Use vimeo for the video. Makes the life easier to one that wants to see you video again.

Point: I will start working on a service design project here in Brazil, I will be using part of the knowledge you developed here. I am not sure if they will like to buy the tool (tha emotional design talk it difficult to sell). Nonetheless I will used some of your approach to evaluate and review a service of a huge company in Brazil :-)

We keep in touch. Loads to share.

Well, the concept and design is pretty much done, but we need to dive now into the technical development, so it's going to take a little while longer to get it 'out there'.

In any case, I'll keep you posted about it's development.

Interesting work from the SusaGroup. For our work I thought the stickers would be the best approach – low tech and easy – but then I just saw the iPhone app that you're developing, which would be a great research tool. How close are you to having that ready to be used by others?

Hi Andy,

First of all, thanks for sharing!

Quite an interesting approach you have going on there. I am primarily a designer and just happened to work on this field by chance during my graduation project, but in doing so I got to dive into this "service world" and got acquainted with many different methods, so from my humble perspective and from what I've seen during my process, your method looks very promising.

If you are interested in the field of identifying and measuring emotions, I recommend you take a look at the work done by the SusaGroup (http://www.susagroup.com) - the company for which I did my graduation project - which I'm sure could be a very interesting for the "emotions" part of your approach.

Hi Steve,
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the image was not produced by me so I don't have any authority to allow or refuse its usage. I myself have been trying to find the original to properly credit the creator, but haven't been able to do so.
The best quality version I've been able to find is here:
http://www.filterjoe.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/woman-hugging-book-page.jpg

But, you can find a similar image for sale here:
http://www.fotolia.com/id/5470148

Hope the info helps you out.
Regards,

I'm a librarian at Granite Peaks High School in Salt Lake County, Utah. Is it possible to use your image "Me and My Books" to create a READ poster for our library? We're trying to enthuse students about reading. Your image is extraordinary and we'd like to display it.

Thank you,
